Roustabout Laborer - Permian Basin

Shalestone, Inc. is looking for Roustabout Laborers to join our team. We are a business with several branches that serve the oil and gas industry. The roustabout position is responsible for supporting oil and gas operations. The position is diverse and will vary on a daily basis. The roustabout works with equipment they are qualified to operate including hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. This position requires the ability to work in all types of inclement and extreme weather conditions, and available both day and night shift on the rare occasion they are needed. The position also requires a commitment to understanding and exhibiting safe work practices, following safety protocol, federal and state laws and regulations as well as representing the organization in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Essential Duties:

* Following supervisor instructions

* Showing up on time and ready to work

* Lifting and moving materials greater than 80lbs

* Safely work in potentially hazardous environment

* Secure truck and trailer loads for safe transport

* Perform upkeep and maintenance

* Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as random drug testing

Job requirements

* 1 Year oilfield experience

* High level of communication skills

* Willing to work overtime

* Heavy equipment experience preferred

* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (no more than two moving violations in 3 years). CDL preferred.
