Position Outline:


The EHS Coordinator's primary focus is to ensure that environmental, health, and safety policies are coordinated and implemented in the workplace.


General Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to the following):


  • Support multiple branches with balanced travel (northern region)
  • Promote a culture of safety within the organization, and jointly implement programs, policies, procedures, and fail-safe solutions
  • Identify and support the mitigation of risk and liability
  • Identify and communicate EHS behavioral achievements and deficiencies
  • Review EHS reporting documentation and detect trends
  • Complete in-house training and-or front-line audits


Preferred Position Qulifications


  • Bilingual in English and Spanish languages
  • 2 years EHS experience, preferably in construction and-or oil and gas operations
  • Experience with open-minded EHS cultures and safety leadership
  • Knowledge of EHS compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude for organization, prioritization and completing multiple tasks
  • Ability to work in a collaborative fashion to accomplish EHS and operational objectives




Job requirements

Project Performance:

  • Supports operational teams in recognizing and mitigating at risk areas of our business
  • Participating in the continuous auditing of EHS management system improvement(s)
  • 85%- time allocation o the front lines - 15%-time allocation in administrative setting
  • Conduct field audits along with DOT audits; frequently to ensure that safety compliance is an essential part of the day-to-day activities
  • Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices, to ensure compliance OSHA, ANSI, API, NFPA along with company EHS standards
  • Leading on-site training programs designed to motivate field personnel
  • Respond to incidents and accidents and support the completion of reporting documents
  • Provide observations and recommendations on field level issues and trends for management review
  • Investigate the adequacy of ventilation, exhaust equipment, lighting, and other conditions that could affect employee health, comfort, or performance
  • Implement and maintain hygiene programs such as noise surveys, continuous atmosphere monitoring, and ventilation surveys
  • Participating in on-call duties, offering incident management and support
  • Conduct EHS training and demonstrate the use of safety equipment
  • Provide new employee health and safety orientation, and develop material for these presentations
  • Track EHS related training and compliance; OSHA-PEC_H2S, operation of company vehicles and equipment, First Aid, CPR, and AED, etc
  • Vet and secure 3rd party training contractors
  • Safety meeting and direction and participation
  • Maintains Inventory of personal protective equipment
  • Identifies conditions or actions that may cause injury, illness, or property damage
  • Provides day-to-day safety support, direction, and guidance
  • Ensures compliance with OSHA safety standards
  • Any other duties as assigned
